Norton Panther Parents Athletic Booster Club (PPABC) is the Sports Boosters for all Middle School
and High School sports (grades 7 - 12) in the Norton City Schools District.  We support the sport
teams with equipment while offering each sport a budgeted amount to help with their team needs.
We also give out scholarships to a number of deserving student athletes.  In past years we were able
to spend over $60,000 which went towards the new wrestling room at the High School and a new
Gator for use on our outdoor sports teams.  We were able to invest over $20,000 in new weight
equipment for the weight room at the high school.  We also spent over $5000 to purchase new
warm-ups for the track team.  Without the support of our community this would not be able to happen.

PPABC Mission Statement

PPABC exists as an organization of parents and community persons
dedicated to the athletes of Norton.

A. The club shall support, encourage and advance the athletic programs of the Norton City School District,
thereby cultivating clean, wholesome school spirit, promoting good sportsmanship and developing
     character.
B. The club shall promote projects to improve facilities and equipment necessary to provide an adequate
athletic program for the school district.
C. The club shall do nothing which violates the rules of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA)
or in any way jeopardizes the membership of the school district in said athletic association.
D. This club shall not seek to direct the technical activities nor the policies of the school district,
      administration or coaches.
